Product overview

This yellow lens directly replaces the original clear main lens on an SS3 LED Pod, letting you change both the color and the beam pattern with a quick swap. It is built from optical-grade polycarbonate and includes an integrated o‑ring, so the pod remains sealed against water and dust after installation.

Easy lens swapping

Swapping the lens is designed to take only a few seconds. You remove the four Torx-head screws from the back frame, pull out the existing lens and o‑ring assembly, and drop in the new lens with its o‑ring already installed. The locating pins ensure the new lens is correctly aligned and oriented before you reinstall the screws.

Handling and cleanliness

To avoid contamination of the optics, you should not touch the inner optical surface of the replacement lens during installation. Wearing gloves or handling only the edges helps keep the lens clean and maintains optimal light output and beam quality.

Alignment and fastening

The lens assembly uses locating pins to prevent misalignment, so once seated it will sit in the correct position with the proper rotation. After that, reinstall the four screws and snug them “hand-tight” rather than over-tightening, which keeps the seal intact without stressing the housing.
