Overview: The SS3 3 in. LED Pod delivers higher output intensity than many other 3 in. lights, using custom-engineered TIR optics to produce highly functional beam patterns in a compact, durable housing. It is available in cool white or selective yellow output, with multiple power levels to match your lighting needs.
Focused optics: Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses can waste light internally and create glare, so not all of the output reaches the target. The SS3’s custom TIR optic captures nearly all of the LED’s light and directs it precisely where needed, reducing glare and improving overall efficiency compared to basic reflector-style pods.
Backlight functionality: The Stage Series 3 in. LED Pod is available with a distinctive amber backlight that fully illuminates the TIR optic, creating a uniform, modern accent instead of relying on small indicator LEDs. This backlight adds style and visibility when you want a subtle lighting effect separate from the main beam.
Simple connections: Each SS3 LED pod includes a custom-molded DT-type Deutsch-style connector on the back and a 6 in. pigtail with bare leads. This makes integration with existing wiring straightforward while maintaining a secure, weather-resistant connection.
