Overview: The SS3 3 in. LED Pod is engineered for maximum functionality, delivering higher output intensity than typical 3 in. lights with custom TIR optics that create highly effective beam patterns in a compact, durable housing. It is offered in cool white or selective yellow, and in both sport and pro power levels to suit different applications.
Focused optics: Conventional reflectors and simple lenses can waste light and create glare, so not all of the output reaches the intended target. By contrast, the SS3’s custom TIR optic captures the LED’s light and channels it precisely where needed, significantly reducing glare and improving overall efficiency compared to basic reflector-style pods.
Backlight functionality: The Stage Series 3 in. LED Pod includes an optional amber backlight that fully illuminates the TIR optic, creating a smooth, modern accent instead of relying on small indicator LEDs. This backlight provides a distinctive visual signature and added style when you want accent lighting separate from the main beam.
Simple connections: Each SS3 pod uses a custom-molded DT-type Deutsch-style connector on the rear and includes a 6 in. pigtail with bare leads. This design simplifies wiring integration while maintaining a robust, weather-resistant connection for long-term reliability.
