Overview: The SS3 3 in. LED Pod is engineered for maximum functionality, delivering higher output intensity than typical 3 in. lights by using custom-designed TIR optics that produce highly useful, well-controlled beam patterns in a compact, durable housing. It is offered in cool white or selective yellow output and in both Sport and Pro power levels, so you can choose the ideal combination for your specific application.
Focused optics: Traditional reflectors and simple lenses often waste light internally and create glare, so not all of the output reaches your target. In contrast, the SS3’s custom TIR optic collects nearly all of the LED’s light and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving overall efficiency compared to basic reflector-style pods.
Backlight functionality: The Stage Series 3 in. LED Pod is available with a distinctive backlight in your choice of white, amber, red, or blue, fully illuminating the TIR optic for a smooth, modern accent instead of relying on small indicator LEDs. This backlighting provides a unique visual signature and stylish accent lighting that operates independently from the main beam.
Simple connections: Each SS3 LED pod features a custom-molded DT-type Deutsch-style connector on the back and includes a 6 in. pigtail with bare leads.
